Which industrial parts washer to choose?

The choice depends on three things: the contaminant to remove (oil, chips, particles, salts), the shape and size of the part, and the takt time of your line. Before quoting, we run washing trials with your own parts to confirm the cleanliness level.

Frequently asked questions

What is an industrial parts washer?

It is a machine that removes oils, chips, particles and other contaminants from metal parts after machining, stamping or casting, and before assembly, painting or heat treatment. It washes, rinses and dries in an automatic cycle, with water and detergent or with solvent.

Spray, ultrasonic or solvent: which one fits?

Spray washing, with pressurized detergent jets, covers most machined parts and high production rates. Ultrasonic immersion reaches complex geometries, blind holes and fine particles. Vacuum solvent is the choice for difficult oils and parts that must come out perfectly dry, with no wastewater.

Are the machines built in Mexico?

Yes. WashTech designs and builds its entire range of spray washers in Querétaro. The MecanoFAST is built in Mexico, France or India, and Solvacs is HEMO technology (Germany). Installation, commissioning and service are carried out by our team in Mexico.

Can I run trials with my own parts?

Yes. We run washing trials with your parts and, if your specification requires it, we can recommend laboratories for cleanliness analysis to ISO 16232 or VDA 19.
